A large body of water surrounded by mountains, NEOM, 2024.

Constant Art collaborated with NEOM to develop its public art strategy for The Line and the Nature Reserve, as well as to curate and acquire the first 30 artworks for NEOM’s corporate collection and to establish its corporate art library.

Constant Art was tasked with developing public art strategies for NEOM’s high-profile initiatives, The Line and its Nature Reserve, which covers 95% of NEOM. Our methodology was based on closely aligning with NEOM’s vision, mission, and values, and ensuring integrated consultations with client teams for streamlined communication and transparent planning. Our strategic frameworks included an analysis of the client’s business objectives, aligning these with NEOM’s urban planning and conservation strategies. We then benchmarked the initiatives against international and regional standards to ensure both initiatives are competitive, while offering a unique selling point through its public art programme.

We also advised on the acquisition and curatorial narrative for the first 30 artworks in NEOM’s corporate collection, aiming to lay a strong foundation for the future expansion of a larger-scale corporate art collection. Aligning with NEOM’s goal to support local artistic talent, we utilised our extensive network and expertise in the local art scene to curate these initial selections. Once approved we also managed the purchasing, framing, delivery, and installation of these artworks at NEOM’s headquarters.

The remote NEOM desert environment sets the scene for spectacular stargazing, Hisma Desert, NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

To provide academic context for the artworks within NEOM’s corporate collection, its future purchases and commissions, and NEOM’s place within the art history of the region, we developed the foundation of its art library, starting with 150 tomes dedicated to heritage, referencing current trends, and future planning. We were responsible for developing an initial digital catalogue, coordinating the purchase of books, and managing their delivery to NEOM’s headquarters.
